The Oquirrh is about 25 miles west of Salt Lake City, just off of Highway 80. View of Union Pacific tracks is quite dramatic - you have an unobstructed view, though the rails run at quite an elevation above the hotel. Also, a few hundred yards away. The natural beauty of this sweeping view is stunning. The old Lincoln Highway follows the nearby Amtrak tracks for a good distance.
