The Katy House in Smithville, Texas is a really nice B&B. You cant see the tracks but
you can sure hear the trains. The place is full of RR memorabilia especially MKT Stuff.
The tracks are just about a block away, an easy walk. The owners are an active UP
engineer and his wife and two wonderful dogs. They are currently refurbishing a
caboose to add to the available accommodations. I highly recommend it.
