Hereford is on the busy BNSF Transcon Hereford Sub. The motel is about a city block
from the tracks. Ask for a room on the second floor of "the Annex" for views of the
tracks between buildings. Rooms are not fancy, but they are clean, with credit-card
style door locks recently added. Trackside viewing is available one mile east at a
public park next to the ATSF style depot, now an office for maintenance workers.
