I have stayed there several times. If you request upper floor north side (trackside) I would give this location a T-A-3, Lower floors a B due to some trees. Any other room than those mentioned you cannot see the trains but you can walk out to parking lot and see them. I have spent a few evenings out on the balcony watching the trains. It is at the end of White's Siding and is a good place to catch meets. Trains could be more frequent, but still average more than 20 per day however the heavier traffic runs in the evening. After a day of railfanning what could be better than to come to your room, sit on your balcony and watch more trains.

Great location, next to the tracks. Ask for 3rd or 4th floor in the back. (I believe they are all even numbered rooms.) Plenty of action, but it does experience feast or famine type lulls. Traffic density has picked up since my last visit. Unfortunately some trees have gotten a little bigger, blocking the view of the signals. I would definitely take this place over the Courtyard Marriot down the street.
