You can spend the day with the family visiting HersheyPark and Chocolate World, see a freight train on the Norfolk Southern (former Conrail) line right next to the campground. Trains pass about 3-4 times per hour each way on the double track line. Many of the sites offer a treeless view of the tracks. A short drive offers picture locations with the chocolate plants in the background plus the switchers seam to work all day.

This location is very close to Hershey and overlooks Norfolk Southern's ex-Conrail, Harrisburg Line. Traffic on this line is very heavy in both directions. Ask for a room on the backside of the hotel.
