OK here is what I know. Tom Davis operates this establishment for railfans.
Tom was ver knowledgable in the area, and has track side rooms, subject to
availability.

Now, there are no TV's or phones in the rooms, but there is a TV and phone in
"the common room", and in the Yard Office Bar, downstairs. There is a large
porch in front where you can sit and watch Norfolk Southern put on a show.

The rooms were spotless, and clean. The beds were VERY comfortable. Cresson is a
small town with Mc D's, and other establishments within a 5 minute walk.
Most excellent place for railfans. It is a small place, only 6 rooms, so make
reservations EARLY. This place is set up for trainwatchers, by a trainwatcher.
While out and around, we encountered Tom shooting trains as we were.

The Inn has 8 rooms, 2 downstairs and one up, with I think a total of 28 beds.

You could also mention that it is adjacent to the 3 track NS line between Philly
and Pitt. I have stayed there 47 nights since the beginning of 2001 with two more
nights scheduled in June and 2 in July. Many nights previous to 2001 but I wasn't
counting. It makes the 250 mile drive well worth it.
