An older independent motel, located west of central Hood River on the north side frontage road along Interstate 84 about 2 miles out, on top of the hill. Not next to the tracks but the location has a killer view of the Columbia River Gorge and the BNSF on the other side of the river. Views of the UPRR on the near side are almost directly down on and not a good as the views of the BNSF. It is away from downtown and during the windsrufing season it is probably away from that crowd and their tendency to take all the rooms in town and drive the prices up.
