The Buffalo Point Motel, 2 1/2 miles east of Potter, Nebraska on US-30 which parallels the up mainline. This hotel sits at the base of the Point of Rocks -- the sharpest curve on the UP mainline. A great place to train watch and only 20 minutes from Cabela's Sporting Goods in Sidney. It's a railfan's paradise as trains are constantly going around the bend.
