Campground open Memorial Day until Labor Day. Reservations accepted beginning Nov. 1 for the following season. Off-Season Office Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday thru Friday); 9:00 AM - Noon (Saturday); Office Closed Thanksgiving thru January 2nd
The campsite is on the Guilford's Boston and Maine line. An average day offers 8 Amtrak trains and a number of freights. Trains slow down for the short section along the beach front and there are many meets at the north end of the passing track right behind the campground. A scanner and a Amtrak Schedule is helpful.
