This location has Spinning Rest. on top, overlooks the B&O St. Louis and C&O Russel line as it comes South out of Cincinnati, less than 2 miles from Queensgate Yard. 15 Floors, ask for trackside view when checking in. Sliding glass doors to a small balcony, which allows all night long train watching, Train Freq, about 30 minutes between trains.
Formerly known as The Quality Inn Riverview is in Covington, KY, there several other hotels but not as high (in elevation) as the Quality. I used to work in the revolving restaurant on the top floor. The entire dining area revolves. There are three different speeds. One hour in the morning, 45 minutes in the afternoon and 30 minutes for dinner.

The Courtyard Inn - Downtown in Covington overlooks the Ohio River on the north side. It's a fine view of Cincy across the river. The double track CSX bridge from Ohio to Kentucky passes immediately to the east of the hotel. The parking garage for the hotel is the only thing between the rooms and the elevated tracks. I recommend the rooms on the east end of the hotel on the south side, especially #s 729, 829, and 929, for a view of the elevated tracks over downtown Covington. On the north side the rooms all have a view of the bridge, but one can't see trains at night from one's room due the lighting situation.
