Right across the street from the Canadian Pacific tracks, trains can be seen right out your window IF YOU ARE IN ROOMS 111-116. Other rooms you have to go outside and unless there’s scanner traffic to alert you, by the time you hear the train and get out the door, you aren’t going to see much in the way of power.
I had room 106, it was TINY. Bed placed against one wall and no more than 4 feet of clearance between the bed and any wall. Good thing the TV was flat-panel! Other rooms I saw were the same size. A railway museum is nearby.
