Motel is located just off of Interstate 8 at the 16th Street Exit in Yuma, Arizona. Ask for room on the 3rd Floor facing the Pool (Smoking and Non Smoking Rooms Available).
The view is of the Union Pacific (Former Southern Pacific) Main Line making a long sweeping curve before disappearing into a cut near the motel and entering the Yuma yards. Train movements average more than one every 30 Minutes. A short walk of about 100 Yards across a vacant lot allows you to look right down at the tracks and a signal block gives you about 5 minutes notice to approaching WB Trains. When cool enough, you can leave the window open and listen all night to the roar of EB trains climbing out of the Yuma yards. Many good restaurants are located near the motel.
