Password Problems
Here are some good tips for troubleshooting password rejection should it ever occur. These tips should solve the problem. It they do not, call us for assistance.
Tip #1 - Make sure you are typing in your username all in lower case letters. This is very important because our server will see the capital letters as different characters.
Tip #2 - Be sure to only type in your username not your entire email address. i.e. "username" not "username@goeaston.net"
Tip #3 - Make sure there are no spaces in, before, or after your username or password. Our server will read spaces as letters and will not let you log on if one is present.
Tip #4 - Make sure that your computer is this only one connecting with your username and password. If someone is already logged on with your username, you won't be able to log on. If you believe this is the case, call us and we will assist you.
Tip #5 - Make sure you are not trying to connect to the Internet with your 2nd email username and password. Your second email account does not have Internet access privilages. You must connect to the Internet with the main account then access your email with the other.
